Blockchain will reduce the circulation of fake drugs

The Government of Afghanistan will use blockchain technology in healthcare to try to solve the problems of the industry. So, on November 27, the country's authorities signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the FantomOperations blockchain company.

The partnership has three goals: create medical records in hospitals, digitize patient information, and complete the production of fake drugs. The World Health Organization is reporting that the number of fake drugs in the industry is $30 billion.

Ferozuddin Feroz, the country's Minister of Health, believes the blockchain guarantees effective patient service and transparency of industry data. This is reported by cryptocurrency news.
