Over 80,000 computers are infected with Dexphot malware

Over 80,000 computers were infected with new malware known as Dexphot. Microsoft warns that the hidden option uses very sophisticated methods to avoid detection.

November 26 Microsoft issued a warning with a detailed description of the new option malware known as Dexphot, which has already infected more than 80,000 devices since it was discovered in 2018.

Despite the fact that the virus is relatively harmless – hackers use Dexphot to mine cryptocurrencies, the methods used are very complex and allow it to bypass traditional security tools, cryptocurrency news reports.
