According to a press release on April 15, Corporate Traveler, the largest travel management company in the UK, announced that it was going to start accepting BTC for payments.

Partnership with BitPay

This news comes from a partnership with BitPay, a company that deals with crypto-payments. BitPay will allow Corporate Traveler to accept bitcoins as payment.

According to Andy Hegley, CEO of Corporate Traveler in the UK, this update was requested by Corporate Traveler customers. Hegley also explains why they chose BitPay: "We have revealed a growing demand from our customers for the possibility of paying with Bitcoin for booking business trips offered by our travel agency. We chose BitPay to manage our trade processing, because they simplify the entire process of obtaining BTC cryptocurrency – from client’s cash to deposit into our account."

Despite the strong fluctuations of Bitcoin in the market, Corporate Traveler remains unchanged. This is because BTC is converted directly into British pounds, and BitPay charges a commission of 1% for the conversion of funds. The commission also does not concern the Corporate traveler, since it is cheaper than processing a credit card.

Corporate Traveler, the UK travel company has announced support for BTC. Corporate Traveler is not the only company in the travel and tourism industry that accepts crypto due to demand from its customers.

BitPay is growing, as companies and individuals tend to pay more for everyday services and products using cryptocurrency. More recently, BitPay announced that it has completed transactions worth over $ 1 billion, with no signs of slowing down.
