In Kyrgyzstan, 45 mining companies were disconnected

The government plans to sell electricity to miners in the amount of 5 cents. Information to the tazabek resource was reported by the head of the National Energy Holding, Aitmamat Nazarov.

 

45 companies consumed 100 million kWh per month

The head of the National Energy Holding Aitmamat Nazarov notes that miningMining
– is a type of activity for creating new blocks in the Blockchain to ensure proper system operation. Details
companies were turned off due to the following reasons: lack of documents and high energy consumption for cryptocurrency mining. The number of miners in the country has increased due to the low cost of electric energy.

According to him, cryptocurrency miners need electric capacities that would cover 3 regions of Kyrgyzstan.

The state believes that the electricity tariff for cryptocurrency mining will amount to 5 cents – 3.3 soms.
