Uzbek miners proposed a deal to the government

Miners from Uzbekistan proposed greening the country in exchange for the legalization of cryptocurrency business. Entrepreneurs formalized the deal in the form of a video message.

The essence of the transaction

In connection with the management plan to increase the cost of electricity in Uzbekistan, miners decided to turn to the management with a request to legalize the production of digital currencies.

Commenting on the plans of the country's politicians, miners said:

“We do not want to transfer our data centers to a foreign country. We want Uzbekistan to develop and benefit from this industry. We are even ready to plant one tree for every 1 MW of electricity used – this is approximately 60,500 trees per year. We will help green our country.”
