Iran licensed miners
CoinDesk reviewed the draft law, which should regulate the activities of miners in Iran. According to the plan, miners will receive licenses for a period of 1 year. That is, they will have to go through the registration process every 12 months.
Registration itself will require miners to indicate the estimated cost of their investment in the business, the lease, the cost of equipment and the duration of the mining activity.
It is planned to issue licenses only to miners whose equipment consumes more than 30 kilowatts of electricity. So, small cryptocurrency miners will not have to go through a bureaucratic process.
