Fidelity, an American holding company, announced that its cryptocurrency exchange is in the final stages of development to improve processes, as reported by CoinDesk.
Information about the final preparations for the launch of a cryptocurrency exchanger from Fidelity, was posted on the company's official blog on the evening of January 31.

According to the announcement, the company currently provides services to a small group of "test" clients and continues to improve the infrastructure of the platform.
"Our first customers are an important part for the final periods of testing and process improvement, which ultimately will allow us to provide the same services to a wider range of customers and institutions that meet our criteria" – from the Fidelity blog post.
Recall that Fidelity first announced the development of a cryptocurrency platform, on the day of launch of its subsidiary – Fidelity Digital Asset Services, in October 2018.
This was followed by Fidelity statements that the new company would offer custody and execution services for digital assets focused on institutional investors: funds, offices and market intermediaries. According to representatives of Fidelity in 2018, the cryptocurrency market will not be open to retail investors.
