Cryptopia New Zealand Exchange is again in danger as hacker attacks continue. According to official data, the attackers robbed 17,000 user wallets, as reported by the CoinTelegraph news agency.
For the second week in a row, the Cryptopia cryptocurrency exchange has been threatened by cyber criminals. According to the exchange employees, there have already been two massive hacks of online wallets. Losses amounted to more than 175,875 US dollars.

Hacking the Cryptopia exchange and stolen cryptocurrency
On January 15, Cryptopia, a New Zealand crypto-exchanger, first reported a burglary, and then suspended its work. As a result of the first hack, the exchange suffered "significant losses" of Ethereum cryptocurrency and ERC-20 protocol tokens. For several days, representatives of Cryptopia did not disclose the nuances of hacking, as this would prevent investigative actions.
