The Kraken cryptocurrency exchange has begun supporting the Swiss franc (CHF) in partnership with the Liechtenstein-based Frick bank.

CHF on the Kraken platform

Starting December 6th, users can trade between CHF and BTC, as well as CHF and Ether on the Kraken platform.

Founded in 2011, the US-based Kraken exchange allows customers to buy or sell cryptocurrencies using various fiat currencies.

The company recently joined the Silvergate exchange network, developed by California-based Silvergate Bank, which allowed Kraken users to receive real-time, round-the-clock deposits and payments in US dollars with no commission.

In addition to US dollars, customers can also replenish their accounts with Canadian dollars, euros, British pounds and Japanese yens.
