Maltese exchange Binance plans to open an office in Ukraine until 2020. The national currency was added on the exchange: CEO of the exchange, Changpen Zhao, announced on Twitter.

Binance guarantees assistance in legalizing digital currencies and cryptocurrencies in the country. A working group will be organized to find options for integrating blockchain technologies and cryptocurrencies in Ukraine, as cryptocurrency news reports today.  

Mikhail Fedorov, Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine, Minister of Digital Transformation, is pleased with the result. Fedorov shared the news on a page on the Facebook social network:

“I do not have a single bitcoin, but there is great news! Today, we began cooperation with one of the most popular systems in the world that works with blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies – Binance.”

The minister stressed that cooperation with “Binance will bring in millions of dollars of income,” since the daily volume of the exchange is $1 billion. The platform is preparing to open an office in Ukraine until 2020. According to Fedorov, the decision to work with Ukraine is a signal for cryptocurrency market participants about the availability of suitable conditions for doing business.

The head of the exchange, Changpeng Zhao, informed Twitter users that the input and output of the Ukrainian hryvnia has already been added. Commission for replenishment is 3%, and to withdraw funds, users pay 2.5% + 30 UAH. The CEO of the exchange added:

“We are pleased to partner with the Ministry of Digital Transformation and begin our collaboration in supporting the development of ambitious government plans and the huge potential in blockchain technology.”
