The discussion led to many comments from other users of the Twitter. Some are convinced that in fact Vitalik is simply "trolling" supporters of XRP tokens.

The dispute between two crypto gurus: Vitalik Buterin – Pierre Rochard

On February 23, a social dispute broke out on Twitter between the creator of Ethereum, Vitalik Buterin, and the famous programmer Pierre Rochard, who posted a post about "perfect stable cryptocurrency" in his microblog. In the post, Rochard portrayed the "ideal crypto" conditional graph. According to the graph, it was not difficult to guess that the programmer considered Bitcoin to be the benchmark of a stablecoin.

"This is how the graph of an ideal stablecoin looks like; it is an excellent tool for saving capital. Probably, this is not to the taste of readers, but this is exactly what a stable crypto-coin should look like." – Pierre Rochard.

Within a few hours, a response from Vitalik Buterin, Ethereum co-founder, appeared on Twitter.

"I think you would like to use XRP. The XRP/XRP graph will look similar, respectively, Ripple is also a stablecoin. Ripple is popular among institutional categories and has many successful partnerships. We can conclude that Ripple is better." – Vitalik Buterin.

It is noteworthy that many users have responded ambiguously to the statements of Rochard. So, for example, Lawrence H. White said: "BTC1 = BTC1. Do you seriously think that this is a good argument for considering Bitcoin to be reliable money?"

Pierre Rochard replied: "This is not just a good argument, this is a perfect argument! The equation is clear."

Rochard also responded to Buterin’s tweet by writing: "Ripple Scum is concealed by the opinion of Vitalik Buterin that 1 XRP = 1 XRP. Do not believe them! Brad Garlinghouse (CEO Ripple) can print even more XRP when the corresponding desire arises. Only 1 BTC = 1BTC."

Rochard's last few posts, the obvious attempts to "hush up" the discussion were unsuccessful. Now, the situation has already been described many times in the media and crypto-experts have commented. Rochad's latest tweet about "perfect stablecoin": "My original tweet, Vitalik’s tweet and the quotations you answer are simple sarcasm. A post that 1 BTC = 1 BTC is nothing more than a parody of a meme."

Vitalik Buterin published a post about XRP, which began a new discussion in the crypto-community. Recall that recently the founder of Ethereum reported on what cryptocurrencies can be found in its crypto-wallets.
