You can send Bitcoins to Twitter thanks to the new Tippin browser extension. Cryptocurrency payments in a social network will occur thanks to the Lightning Network.

On February 19th, new features were announced on Twitter. Now users can promote posts that they liked. The transfer of Bitcoins from client accounts is due to the expansion of Tippin and using Lightning Network, the second level network.
