The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) of the US has set the October 13 deadline for approval of the Bitcoin-ETF.
CNBC report cites Matt Hougan, managing director and global head of research at Bitwise, who says:
“We are closer than ever to getting Bitcoin-ETF approved.”
“Before Monday, the SEC has to give its decision: yes or no. They have no more ways to postpone it. We will hear clearly between now and Monday what they think.” – Hougan.
Matt Hougan is convinced that ETF approval will provide a great opportunity for investors to access the Bitcoin space securely.

The decision to approve Bitcoin-ETF takes quite a while. The Winklevoss twins filed the first Bitcoin-ETF application in 2013, starting a long fight with the SEC for approval.
