Bitcoin-ETF approval is closer than ever

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) of the US has set the October 13 deadline for approval of the Bitcoin-ETF.

Bitcoin-ETF approval

CNBC report cites Matt Hougan, managing director and global head of research at Bitwise, who says:

“We are closer than ever to getting Bitcoin-ETF approved.”

“Before Monday, the SEC has to give its decision: yes or no. They have no more ways to postpone it. We will hear clearly between now and Monday what they think.”  Hougan.

Matt Hougan is convinced that ETF approval will provide a great opportunity for investors to access the Bitcoin space securely.

  • The decision to approve Bitcoin-ETF takes quite a while. The Winklevoss twins filed the first Bitcoin-ETF application in 2013, starting a long fight with the SEC for approval.
