The Abra cryptocurrency investment platform has announced a partnership that will provide its Philippine users with new places to add funds directly to their Abra applications.

The company is working with a local payment provider, ECPay, to offer its services for receiving cash through the ECPay network, which includes 6000 points of sale, including 7-Eleven, department stores and pawnshops.

"We are very excited about this partnership with ECPay and that we have taken the next step towards our vision of an open and easy-to-use financial system for everyone," says Abra founder and CEO Bill Barghidt.
"Now Abra users in the Philippines can quickly and easily add pesos to Abra and use them to invest in cryptocurrencies or popular stocks like Google, Amazon, Facebook."
