Ripple reports that all banks in India are now ready to begin adoption the latest version of the Ripple decentralized financial instrument, xCurrent 4.0.

During his presentation at the 2019 Indian Decentralized Applications Festival, software integration engineer at Ripple, Sachin Maheshwari, said that all Indian banks are now ready to begin implementing the latest version of the Ripple decentralized financial instrument, xCurrent 4.0.

The Ripple team believes that XRP can stand in the way of mass adoption, thanks to this latest development, which will certainly significantly increase the volume of Ripple XRP utilities, given that India is the second largest country without banking services in the world, and is an emerging market with population of 1.33 billion people.
