The National Police Academy of India is going to train its senior Indian police officers in the operation and legal aspects of cryptocurrency.

The leading police academy in India, the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy, wants to train its high-ranking law enforcement officers in cryptocurrency.

The Academy will begin the course in early September. The course will delve into the functional and legal aspects of cryptocurrency, and will also be devoted to several investigations of cases involving the use of digital coins.

Meanwhile, the Government of India continues the decision-making process on the regulatory framework for cryptocurrency, developed by an inter-ministerial committee headed by Finance Minister and Economy Minister Subhash Chandra Garg.
