The latest data from Google Analytics shows some interesting demographic data. One of the most relevant, and perhaps least surprising, is that more than 90 percent of those who interact with the Bitcoin community are men.

Google Analytics data

Although just over 9 percent of Bitcoiners identify themselves as women, this is a record high for the entire space. Meanwhile, the age demography of the Bitcoin community is distorted towards the youth.

Less than 48 percent of Bitcoiners are between 25 and 34 years old, and about 28 percent are between 35 and 44 years old. At the age of 45-54 years a greater number of users than at the age of 18-24 years.

As for the hobbies and interests of the Bitcoiners, it seems that they are mainly interested in digital currency and, not surprisingly, use this money to earn even more.

The most popular categories of "community interest" were financial, investment and banking services. About 7 percent are defined as "avid investors," while the category of "techno-enthusiasts" lagged, just under 7 percent.

The technically "savvy" crypto-enthusiast will be the one who protects his data and uses software that strictly corresponds to the ideology of decentralization.

Relatively few used privacy-oriented browsers. About 88 percent browsed the web using Chrome, Safari or Mozilla Firefox. Only 1.76 percent of Bitcoiners said they used Opera, the leading web browsing software to ensure privacy, while Brave’s decentralized browser was not even mentioned in the data.

Google Analytics: 90% of the participants in Bitcoin communities are men. Recall that since the entry of the cryptocurrency market into the green zone, an active surge of growth has been seen among many cryptocurrencies.
