Nikolay Arefyev about cryptocurrency ban
On April 11, in his interview for the Federal News Agency, Nikolay Arefyev spoke about his attitude to cryptocurrencies, namely Bitcoin. In his opinion, cryptocurrency and any digital money is a speculation when money is made from money.
According to the statement of the First Deputy Chairman of the Russian State Duma Committee, Bitcoin and Altcoins should be banned, and all those who work with them should be harassed as speculators. At the same time, Arefyev is sure that very soon the cryptographic money will disappear as soon as the authorities of other countries come to their senses and include them in the criminal code, alongside with fraud and speculation.
"In my opinion, such currencies should not exist at all (...) They undermine commodity production (...) Making money out of money is detrimental to all countries of the Earth. The people who are involved in this market are simply speculators", – Nikolay Arefyev for the Federal News Agency.
In addition, Arefiev said that the best solution would be to pursue cryptocurrency (and people associated with it) under the new laws. He also spoke critically about those who encourage the cryptocurrency market and invest in crypto. According to the Deputy Chairman of the State Duma, such people turn the economy into speculation.
