Future blockchain engineers and developers are studying institutions where to get a diploma guaranteeing employment and profit.

Malta is called the world center for blockchain technology. To develop a business in the cryptocurrency industry, the state has created all the conditions. And three days ago, the University of Malta announced that students can earn a master's degree in blockchain and distributed registry technology. The course has already enrolled 35 people.

The training lasts 3 semesters. Students are also offered to enter graduate school. Currently, the University of Malta accepts more than 1000 students from other countries. Before entering, young people are advised to familiarize themselves with the degree of qualification depending on the country.

A prerequisite is knowledge of the English language, since all subjects are taught by teachers in it.

Malta is attracted to students by the sea and its warm climate (even in winter, indicators rarely drop below 8+). In spring and autumn, the optimum temperature is here for those who cannot stand the heat at all.

 

USA: online and offline knowledge

In the United States, there are a large number of universities where students can gain theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the field of blockchain. But there are two educational institutions. The first university is the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Students can take a course called “Designing and Creating Cryptocurrencies.”

The second university is Stanford University, where there are much more directions: “Cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology”, "Cryptography", “Blockchain and cryptocurrencies: Law, Economics, Business, Politics” and other courses. To become a bachelor of Stanford University you need to fill out an application, write 3 essays on a given topic and a motivation letter, provide documents (certificate, teacher's recommendations). In addition, you need to pass the TOEFL test for 100 points and the SAT and ACT tests. Tuition is paid, but 80% of students receive financial support from the university.

But if you do not want to go to university, then the institution offers an online-course that costs $495. At the end of the course, participants take an exam to check their knowledge.

 

Singapore: a legal-regulated cryptocurrency paradise

The city of Singapore is a true paradise for startups and fintech companies in Asia. The government supports the development of the blockchain, and tokens are considered as goods, not securities. All this leads to the fact that blockchain specialists in Singapore are in demand and do not remain without work.

In Asia, the National University of Singapore offers to get an education in the field of blockchain and cryptocurrency. Students of the faculty “Information Security” can take the course “Cryptography: Theory and Practice.” Students on admission pass the TOEFL and IELTS tests and are interviewed. For applicants from other countries hold an online meeting.
